Social Media Reacts To 2020 Oscar Nomination Snubs

There are a lot of people who are celebrating the success of being nominated fro the 92nd Academy Awards, and congratulations to those people *insert Issa Rae shade*. But at the same time, there are a bunch who deserved to be on that roster and didn't make it.

Issa Rae did a good, subtle job at raising an eyebrow at the lack of female representation in the nominations for Best Director as she announced the candidates for the Academy yesterday morning. Though she couldn't be as candid as her "I'm voting for everybody black" stint, the message was clear. Of course we'd love to hear from the actual actors who were snubbed but understand the politics behind the film industry can cause some to shy away from commenting.

Thankfully, we live in a day of age where social media serves as a mouth piece for all. Especially disgruntled fans who began trending #OscarsSoWhite on Twitter. Folks who feel like Jennifer Lopez deserved a nomination for her role in Hustlers and horror lovers who say Lupita Nyong'o earned the actual accolade for her part in Us were not afraid to express their disappointment.

Check out some of social media's savage reactions to this year's Oscar nominations and let us know who you would have take home the gold!
